Brain Function
Explain why it is important to come up with new bridge designs. Also why are we so worried about the structural intagerity of bridges that were made fifity years ago?
It is important to make new designs and advancements to make them safe for people. In technology we have came a long way since 50 years ago. Most of those bridges are starting to be outdated. There are new materials and new methods of building bridges to hold more and last longer.
We are always looking for new bridge ideas to make them stronger and safer. You have to take in to consideration where the bridge is at to see if it needs to with stand wind and water. We look at bridges of the past to see the successes and failures. We keep the successes and improve upon the failures.
We need new bridge designs because we need to be original and have good improving ideas. We think that some of these older bridges might have structural flaws, and we want to change our mistakes for the better.
It is important to make new designs and advancements to make the bridges more safe for drivers. Technology has come a long way in the last couple of years and we see how it has helped make bridges easier to make and stay safe. The new materials also help make them last longer.

They are constantly coming out with new cars and vehicles so the brides as well have to adapt. The bridges that were made 50 years ago have had a lot of wear and tear on them and they need to be watched to make sure they don't collapse today.
We are so worried about bridges that were made so long ago b/c they are still in use and we do not want to use somehting that has a high probibility of collapsing. In addition, new bridge designs allow for longer periods of time that those brideges will be safe. THE END
