Why do we use the pythagorean theorem with two dimensional motion?

You can use it to determine the segment on a certain plane. Using the Pythagorean Thereom you can determine the distance in all directions of motion.

We use it to determine that the segment is on a plane. The theoreom determines the distance in all directions of motions. It is very important.

Because you can jsut have a Pythagorean theorem with two or more dimentsional motion, because you need the angle. The Pythagorean theorem can be applied to any right triangle.It can also be applied to find the magnitude of a resultant displaciment.
