Personally I would just wrap it up in blankets. Otherwise i would just attach it to a parachute and put it in a foam cup. I would also put some padding in the foam cup to make sure it does not fall out or break.
You could put it in a block of jello. You could wrap it in alot of towels. You could attach a parachute to it. I think they block of jello is the best idea though.
I would strap a rocket propulsion pack to the egg so right as it is about to hit the ground, the boosters will turn on and it will slow the acceleration caused by gravity. The egg would then slowly land on the ground without breaking. That's what i would do.

There is alot of stuff you could do to prevent it from breaking. You could wrap in in foam and towels. You could attach it to a parachute.
I would put it in foam cups. I would attach a parachute. I would also fill the cups with pdding and put the egg inside the pudding.
You can do a lot of things like attaching it to a parachute. Or put it inside a pudding. Or rolling it in a toal.
