I am not exactly sure what is going on here, but it looks pretty cool. The gas that was poured in created some sort of invisible bubble therefore making the two objects not be able to be put together. It looks like a magnetic force when you try and put North to North or South to South. Some kind of chemical reaction prevents the 2 objects from touching.
I think that the liquid that was poured into the bowl caused something to reverse the magnetic fields of the two magnets in the video. It was something similar to a gravitational pull. It was really odd how holding the 'floating' magnet resulted in the ability to lift the black magnet. I dont know exactly how that one could happen, so i understand how allison thinks that there was some kind of bubble created. The end.
I don't know exactly what is going on here either. I think that whatever was poured onto the block gave it some sort of magnetic field. The magnet and block must not have had opposite charges because they were repelling each other. I am not sure what solution could have been put on this to cause such a reaction, but it was pretty cool.
