Kinetic energy is not conserved in an inelastic collision. Kinetic energy can be transfered. Nothing is conserved in this type of collision.

Knetic can be consatn in at elastic collisions. It can be transfered to. And combined.

Kinetic energy is conserved in elastic collissions. Kinetic energy is not conserved in inellastic collisions. This is fairly simple to understand. If its inellastic is ISnt consrved and if it is ellastic it is conserved.

Kinetic energy is conserved in elastic collisions not inelastic collisions. This is because in inelastic collisions one object changes direction and reduces the kinetic energy of both objects. These two objects then continue in the direction of the object with the higher momentum.

Kinetic energy is conserved in elastic but not conserved in inelastic. When an object is forced to change direction it lose KE.

Kinetic energy is not conserved in inelastic collisions. There are conserved in elastic colliions. THe colliions are different.
