I know that this is more a history questions than a science question but what does today mean to you? Today the United States has its first Black President.

I think it is a pretty important time. It is going to be in history books later. I think it is a pretty big deal that we have our first black president.

Warren G. Harding was the first black president. Plus Barack Obama is only half black. But it still is a big deal.

It was historic. Someday we'll look back on this as either a great president or a bad one but either way it was pretty important.

It means black people everywhere will be half satisfied until they have a 100% black president. That's the rule. You wait. I'm right. Also, it's really neat i guess, but if we wanted real equality we wouldn't give a rats if obama was black or white. Boo racism. White power...get it get it.

I am very proud of our country. We have come along way since our first president. Obabma will do a great job and is very qualified. I am very happy for everyone.
