Laminent flow is when the streams of a fluid flow parallel and undisturbed. Turbulent flow is when a fluid's streams has no real correlation to you. It's all really messed up and crazy, like turbulance.
Laminar flow is where the fluid flows in a streamline direction. The fluid is all parallel to eachother. Turbulent flow is when the fluid is chaotic. The fluid flows in different directions.
Laminar flow is straight and controlled. Turbulent flow is all crazy and all over the place. One example of laminar flow is water coming out of the sink. One example of turbulent flow is the smoke coming out of a volcano.
