When you have a collision, the seat belt hold you in the bank and protect you. It is important because it prevents serious injury by holding a passenger firmly in place in the event of collision. You should always use it.

The seat belt works fairly easy. When you hit the brakes hard or are in a collision your seat belt gets tight and holds you back. It can save lives. It keeps you in the vehicle.

Seatbelts keep us from moving after an impact. They help keep momentum from throwing us out the window into the ditch. They are vital to automobile safety.

Seatbelts lock up when momentum and inertia triggers the switch in the locking mechanism of the belt. They hold you from going through the windshield. Seatbelts don't lock up just because they have an impact. They lock up even when you slam on their brakes.
