I learned that objects such as nickel get warmer if you shake them. The more energy the more it it will give off. That is why when i shook it it got one degree hotter.
Nickel gets warmer as you shake it. Using a calorimeter made of styrofoam cups, you can determine internal energy change. The water affected the temperature not as much as I thought it would.
I learned that objects can gain heat by moving. The water added to the lead made it increase or decrease depending on the the temperature of the water. Energy and heat transfer.

I learned that the more energy the hotter the object. The less energy the colder the object. The more the heat the larger the volume.
