Thermodynamics is the study of the conversion of heat energy into different forms of energy. The change in the internal energy of a closed thermodynamic system is equal to the sum of the amount of heat energy supplied to the system and the work done on the system. It is important because it is used in everyday life and machines.

The change in the internal energy of a closed thermaldynamic system is equal to the sum of the amount of heat energy supplied to the system and the work done on the system. It has to do with the way energy works and stuff. Without the laws thermodynamics wouldn't make any sense.

The change in the internal energy of a closed thermodynamic system is equal to the sum of the amount of heat energy supplied to the system and the work done on the system. This means that heat energy is conserved. This is important to everyday life with anything related to energy like wind turbines, engines, etc.

It has to do with teh way energy works and stuff like that. It wouldnt make much sense at all if we didnt have these laws. It would be pretty confusing.
