A fluid is a nonsolid statte of matter in which the atoms or molecules are free to move past each other. As in a gas or a liquid. They have the ability to flow and to alter their shape in the process.

A fluid is a substance that is capable of flowing and that changes its shape at a steady rate when acted upon by a force tending to change its shape. It easily changes shape and is capable of flowing.

A fluid is a substance that is in a state of matter where the atoms and molecules can move freely around each other consistently. There is flow to a fluid and it changes shape often and easily.
