Gold

Why are we able to find the mass of gold by using water?

Well I am not exactly sure how gold could be measured with water but I think you could measure the mass of the water, add the gold, and then remeasure it subtracting the difference. I am guessing that you could also tell the mass of gold by using the buoyany force. It would have to know how much water you have and see if the gold floats or sinks.
